Notes on Scientific Method
Five Steps
1. Observe and describe
Look at things. Think about what you see.
2. Hypothesis
Make up a reason for what you see. Make sure it is a reason you can test.
3. Predict
Guess what will happen. Guess about something you have not seen.
Makesure it is related to something you have seen.
4. Experiment
Test your hypothesis and prediction. Do it yourself. Gather the data.
5. Repeat
Repeat all steps. Repeat all steps until you have a good hypothesis that explains what you see.
